Ahmed Alkuraydis
NLP Intern
I am a Ph.D. student in the Department of Linguistics at the University of Arizona in Tucson and am concurrently pursuing a Master’s degree in Human Language Technology. My research interests encompass the syntax of Qassimi Arabic, a subdialect of Najdi Arabic spoken in Saudi Arabia, with a specific focus on long-distance dependency structures and the syntax-semantics interface. I also work on topic modeling for text classification using unsupervised NLP methods.
